Exposed Aggregate Concrete

Exposed Aggregate Concrete is created by including a combination of river stones, precious stones or a variety of other aggregates at the batching stage. The concrete is poured in a manner which allows the top layer of slurry to be removed after the concrete has set, revealing the aggregate below. This method is suitable for a number of situations, especially when the concrete is expected to experience high foot or vehicle traffic volumes.
